In this beginner class we focus on learning the machine safely: finding your centre, moving with control, and using the springs to build genuine strength through a full range of motion.

Bring: water bottle and grip socks (mats and equipment provided)

Wear: fitted, stretchy clothing you can move freely in

Notes: arrive 5–10 minutes early if it is your first session

Low Impact
Strong, controlled work that is kind to your joints.

FAQ
Is this class suitable for beginners?

Yes. Every session is structured to support your body where it is today, with clear guidance and modifications for all levels. No prior experience or flexibility is required.

Do I need prior Pilates experience?

Not at all. This class is open to both beginners and experienced practitioners. Every session is structured to support your body where it is today, with no flexibility or prior knowledge required. You’ll be guided clearly and gently throughout the entire class.

What should I bring to class?

Just wear something comfortable that allows you to move and breathe easily. If you have your own mat, bring it along, though we also provide mats and props. A bottle of water and a small blanket or pillow can also be helpful for added comfort during relaxation.

How often should I practise to see results?

Most people notice real change with two sessions a week. Consistency matters more than intensity, and within about a month you can expect better posture, a stronger centre and easier everyday movement.

What are the main benefits of Pilates?

Pilates builds deep core strength, improves posture and mobility, supports the spine and joints with low-impact movement, and sharpens balance and body awareness. These benefits carry into everything you do.
